Comments:
This bar was stock on my TREK 7.4, the hand position and isolation really helps on rough Michigan roads, but during long rides my arms still got tired from being in one position too long. I installed the ERGON GP5 using the Bontrager 11155 Satellite+Isozone Bar end adaptor. Pretty easy install with only minor adjustments/modifications to the install procedure. Really like the new bar ends, better comfort and appearance than the more standard style of bar ends. I suppose if you already have straight bars on your bike this new bar is not required to install a bar end. But I had what I had to begin with.

Comments:
These bars/grips are on my casual bike which I use for a change of pace from my carbon road bike. Very easy on the hands but only one position on long rides. Problem solved though it took several calls to Trek Store - there are two different adapters for Bar Ends, one for use with third party bar ends, which I use with ergo shaped carbon bar ends. Now I have exactly what I needed!

Comments:
Due to the handlebar anything you wish to add to the bar such as bar ends extensions or bar end mirrors will require an isozone specific mirror or bontrager bar end adapters which have spotty availability. Just get normal bars and ergon grips and you will be further ahead.
